  • Industrial-grade build suits harsh environments

8-Port Industrial Ethernet Switch

The Moxa EDS-308 provides eight 10/100BaseTX ports for connecting industrial devices in harsh environments. Its unmanaged design allows immediate operation without software configuration. A smart relay output alarm alerts operators to power or port failures. This switch suits automation engineers building reliable control networks.

Upgrading from unmonitored hubs

Teams replacing basic hubs or unmanaged switches without alarms gain immediate fault visibility through the relay contact. The step up is justified when downtime costs exceed the hardware investment and when 10/100 bandwidth meets current traffic demands. Buyers needing gigabit speeds or managed features such as VLANs should specify a different model.
