Eight RS-232 serial ports connect to a 10/100M Ethernet network in a standard 19-inch rackmount enclosure
The Moxa NPort 5610-8 connects eight RS-232 devices to a 10/100M Ethernet network. It fits a standard 19-inch rack and suits industrial sites that need serial equipment on IP infrastructure. Configuration uses Telnet, a web browser or a Windows utility. An LCD panel shows and sets the IP address.
Each port handles RS-232, 422 or 485 signalling. The unit accepts 100 to 240 VAC or 88 to 300 VDC. A low-voltage variant runs on ±48 VDC across 20 to 72 VDC or -20 to -72 VDC ranges. This covers most cabinet supplies without extra converters.
The Fast Ethernet uplink limits aggregate serial traffic to 100 Mbps. Very high baud rates on all eight ports simultaneously can saturate the link. Socket modes include TCP server, TCP client, UDP and Real COM. SNMP MIB-II supports network monitoring. Buyers needing gigabit uplinks or fibre interfaces should consider other models.

No published specifications for this item yet.
Yes, it uses a standard 19-inch rackmount form factor so it installs directly in the same cabinet as legacy gear.
Use the built-in LCD panel to confirm each port’s link status and the web or Telnet console to monitor live TCP server, TCP client, UDP or Real COM sessions.
The unit ships with the rackmount hardware and power input for 100 to 240 VAC or 88 to 300 VDC; RS-232 RJ45 cables are not included and must be purchased separately.
