Scale and Purpose

The MPC 1/25 scale model kit recreates George Barris' Super Wild Raiders' Coach with 108 detailed parts. It is designed for adult hobbyists who enjoy assembling and painting vintage vehicle replicas. The kit arrives in vintage style packaging with parts molded in white and black vinyl tires. Officially licensed artwork and chrome plated small parts add authenticity to the build.

Assembly Limits

Construction requires paint and cement which are not included in the box. Builders must supply their own adhesives, brushes, and finishing materials to complete the model. The skill 2 rating indicates moderate complexity suitable for those with some modelling experience. Chrome trim detail can be replicated using silver paint rather than pre finished pieces.

Detail Capacity

The kit provides twin GTO 428 engines with stacks, battery box, and dual radiators with a radiator fan. Interior features include an instrument cluster, continental organ, amplifiers, and speakers alongside a foot gas pedal, hand brake, and gear shift. Cragar wheels with hollow tires and 18th century decor lights complete the stage coach body. The 108 parts cover these elements without extra detailing options.

Questions about this item

What does the 1/25 scale mean for the finished model size?

The 1/25 scale means every unit on the model equals 25 on the real coach; the finished replica will be roughly one twenty-fifth the length, width and height of the original vehicle.

How does the twin GTO 428 engine detail appear once assembled?

The kit includes two detailed 428 cubic-inch V8 engines with individual stacks and a battery box, moulded as separate sub-assemblies that sit visibly in the engine bay after construction.

What does the Skill 2 rating tell me about the build difficulty?

Skill 2 indicates an intermediate kit: the 108 parts require careful trimming, test-fitting and cementing, plus painting for the chrome trim and decal application, but no advanced modelling techniques.
