System identity

This MSI Aegis R2 desktop ships new with Windows 11 Pro installed. It combines an Intel Core i9-14900F processor, 32 GB DDR5 5600 memory, a 1 TB NVMe SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card in a tower chassis. An 850 W power supply, 802.11be wireless, Bluetooth and a bundled gaming keyboard and mouse complete the package.

Who this suits and who it does not

The 24-core CPU running up to 5.80 GHz and the RTX 5080 serve gamers and creators who need high frame rates and fast render times at 1440p or 4K. Buyers who want more storage than 1 TB or who need a smaller form factor should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification

The single figure that confirms fit is the RTX 5080 GPU; if your workload or target resolution demands that level of graphics performance, this system matches the requirement.
