ClearCaps 104-key set

The MSI ClearCaps E24-8ZA1040-CLA is a full keycap set containing 104 pieces built from ABS and polycarbonate. Its transparent dual-layer construction is designed to transmit per-key RGB light through each cap. It targets owners of mechanical keyboards fitted with MX-style stems who want to refresh the look of a standard layout.

Best for standard MX boards

This kit suits anyone replacing every cap on a full-size, tenkeyless or 104-key board that uses MX-compatible stems and wants maximum RGB shine-through. Builders working with non-MX stems, low-profile switches, or compact layouts that need fewer or differently sized caps will not find a match here.

MX-style stem compatibility

The only specification that decides fit is the MX-style stem requirement printed on the box. If your switches use that cross-shaped stem the set will mount; if they use any other stem type it will not.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the ClearCaps are correctly installed and lighting up evenly?

After fitting each cap onto its MX-style stem, turn on the keyboard's per-key RGB; the transparent dual-layer design should show bright, uniform illumination across all 104 keys without dark spots.

What comes in the package and do I need to buy anything else?

The box contains the 104 ClearCaps made from ABS polycarbonate; a compatible mechanical keyboard with MX-style switches is required and is sold separately.

Which version should I choose for a full-size layout?

This single 104-key set covers a standard full-size keyboard; no other capacities or versions are offered for this model.
