Ready-to-game desktop with i5-12400F and RTX 3050

This MSI CODEX R2 system pairs a 6-core Intel Core i5-12400F with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with 16 GB of DDR5 5200 memory in a dual-channel 2 x 8 GB configuration and a 500 GB M.2 SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the unit is marked as Virtual Reality Ready for compatible headsets.

Included MSI keyboard

The bundle adds an MSI Gaming Keyboard and MSI Gaming Mouse so the system is usable straight from the box. A 750W 80+ Gold power supply provides efficient headroom for the installed components. ARGB fan air cooling handles thermal management for the processor and graphics card.

H610 chipset with 2.5Gbps LAN and Wi-Fi 6E

The Intel H610 motherboard offers a single front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port and one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port for fast external storage. Wired networking runs at 2.5Gbps while wireless uses Wi-Fi 6E. Builders who need more storage bays or additional PCIe lanes for a second add-in card will find the platform limited by the entry-level chipset.

Questions about this item

When will the 500 GB M.2 SSD need replacing?

The 500 GB M.2 SSD is the primary storage; capacity limits will appear before the drive wears out, so plan an upgrade when free space runs low.

What thermal limit appears first during long gaming sessions?

The ARGB fan air cooling handles the Core i5-12400F and RTX 3050, but sustained loads will hit the case airflow ceiling before the CPU or GPU throttle.

How loud and hot does the 750W 80+ Gold PSU get under all-day load?

The 750W 80+ Gold unit runs efficiently, so waste heat and fan noise stay modest even when the system draws continuous power for hours.
