AMD Ryzen 5 8400F desktop

This MSI Codex Z2 system pairs a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 8400F processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card holding 8GB GDDR7 memory. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB NVMe Gen4 SSD provide responsive multitasking and fast game loads. The Forge 121R tower includes a 650W power supply, 2.5Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, plus a bundled keyboard and mouse.

Sustained thermal management

An RGB air cooler and four RGB fans operate under AI-powered fan management to dissipate heat during extended gaming sessions. The mid-tower chassis uses a 4mm tempered glass side panel for component visibility while maintaining airflow paths. Realtek ALC897 7.1-channel HD audio supports immersive sound throughout long periods of use without thermal throttling interruptions.

Connectivity and expansion limits

Seven rear USB ports and two front USB ports handle peripheral connections while a single RJ45 jack provides wired 2.5Gb networking. The B840M-P motherboard offers four memory slots supporting up to 256GB total DDR5 capacity for future upgrades. Integrated Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2/5.3 share the same radio module, so simultaneous high-bandwidth wireless and multiple Bluetooth devices may contend for airtime.
