MSI Crosshair A16 gaming laptop 16" QHD+ 240Hz Ryzen 9 8940HX RTX 5060 64GB DDR5 1TB

16-core Ryzen 9 laptop for high-refresh gaming

The MSI Crosshair A16 pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX 16-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU. The CPU reaches 5.4 GHz turbo frequency across 32 threads. A 16.0 inch QHD+ panel runs at 240 Hz and 2560 x 1600 resolution. The system ships with 64 GB DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe SSD on Windows 11 Pro.

Sustained load behaviour with 8 GB GDDR7 graphics

The RTX 5060 provides 8 GB GDDR7 video memory for texture-heavy workloads. High core counts and fast memory help maintain frame rates during extended sessions. The 240 Hz display reduces motion blur when the GPU delivers consistent output. Thermal design must dissipate heat from both the 16-core CPU and discrete GPU under continuous pressure.

Gray chassis with USB-C, HDMI and RGB keyboard

The laptop measures 14.13 x 10.49 x 1.1 inches and weighs 5.51 pounds in a gray finish. Connectivity includes USB Type-C ports, USB Type-A, HDMI and a DC-in jack. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth handle wireless links. An RGB backlit keyboard aids low-light use. A webcam is integrated. No fingerprint reader or multi-format SD card reader is present.
