16-inch QHD+ 240Hz display

The 16.0 inch screen delivers a 2560 x 1600 resolution at a 240 Hz refresh rate. This combination provides sharp detail and smooth motion for fast-paced gaming. The panel covers a wide colour space for vibrant visuals.

Ryzen 9 8940HX with RTX 5060

The laptop suits players who want high frame rates at QHD+ without an external monitor. Content creators needing 32 threads for rendering or compiling will benefit from the 16-core processor. Buyers requiring more than 8 GB of video memory or a larger SSD should consider other configurations.

8 GB GDDR7 video memory

The GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU includes 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. This capacity determines the texture resolution and asset load possible in modern titles at native resolution. If your workflow demands more VRAM, this model will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the Crosshair A16 so I can check it fits my bag?

The laptop measures 14.13 x 10.49 x 1.1 inches and weighs 5.51 pounds, so verify your sleeve or backpack compartment against those figures.

How do I add more memory to the 16GB DDR5 and which slot do people forget to seat?

Open the base panel, locate the two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, insert the module at an angle then press down firmly until both retention clips click — the lower slot is often missed.

When will the 1TB PCIe SSD need replacement and what capacity does the second slot support?

The primary 1TB PCIe drive is user-replaceable; a second M.2 slot is available for expansion, so you can add another drive instead of swapping the original.
