MSI GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 2X 12G OC NVIDIA graphics card

SKU CH-4AZM-P9M8W

Delivers 12 GB GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus with 3584 CUDA cores and a 1807 MHz boost clock for 7680 x 4320 output, cooled by a dual-fan design

  • Type of memoryGDDR6
  • 12 GB GDDR6 memory handles large textures and high-resolution assets
  • 192-bit bus width keeps data flowing to the GPU without bottleneck
  • 3584 CUDA cores accelerate parallel workloads in games and creative apps
  • Boost clock reaches 1807 MHz for higher frame rates under load
  • Dual-fan thermal design moves heat away from the core during extended sessions

12GB GDDR6 Memory Capacity

This MSI GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 2X 12G OC graphics card delivers 12GB of GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit bus. It targets 1080p and 1440p gaming as well as entry-level content creation. The 3584 CUDA cores and 1807 MHz boost clock provide solid performance for modern titles. Dual fans keep thermals in check during extended sessions.

Power And Slot Requirements

Verify that your power supply includes the required 8-pin PCIe connector for this card. Ensure the motherboard offers a full-size PCI Express slot with enough surrounding clearance for a dual-slot design. Check that your chassis length accommodates the card without blocking drive cages or cables. Confirm the PSU wattage meets NVIDIA recommendations for the RTX 3060 class.

Dual-Fan Cooling In A Build

The dual-fan thermal design exhausts heat into the case, so maintain good front-to-rear airflow with intake and exhaust fans. A mid-tower case with at least two fan mounts works well for this layout. The 12GB frame buffer frees system RAM for other tasks during creative workloads. DisplayPort and HDMI outputs drive up to 7680 x 4320 resolution for multi-monitor setups.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the VENTUS 2X 12G OC and do I need to buy any cables separately?

The card ships with the dual-fan graphics board installed; standard display cables such as DisplayPort or HDMI are not included and must be purchased separately if you do not already have them.

Should I choose the 12 GB GDDR6 version or is there another capacity option for this model?

This specific model is only offered with 12 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus, so there is no alternative capacity to select.

What does the 1807 MHz boost clock mean for actual frame rates in games at 1440p?

The 1807 MHz boost clock is the peak frequency the 3584 CUDA cores can reach under load; real-world 1440p performance will vary by title and settings but the card is designed for smooth play at that resolution.
