Ventus 3X Plus OC triple-fan cooling

The MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus 3X Plus OC 8GB is a triple-fan graphics card built for 1440p gaming and creative workloads. It targets enthusiasts who want factory overclocked performance in a standard dual-slot form factor.

PCIe 4.0 x16 bandwidth ceiling

The card connects through a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, delivering up to 16 GT/s per lane. That ceiling is set by the interface itself; actual throughput depends on the motherboard chipset and CPU lane allocation.

Dual-slot triple-fan layout

A dual-slot bracket and three axial fans keep the heatsink fed with air while fitting most mid-tower cases. The bare card ships without accessories, so builders must supply their own power cables and mounting hardware.

Questions about this item

Which version of the RTX 3070 Ventus 3X Plus OC 8GB should I choose?

The product is offered as a single configuration: the Ventus 3X Plus OC 8G OC LHR model with 8GB of GDDR6 memory.

What does the 8GB of GDDR6 mean for actual gaming performance?

The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer stores textures and geometry at 1440p and 4K; the RTX 3070 GPU processes that data for high frame rates in modern titles.

What does the PCIe 4.0 x16 interface cap in practice?

The PCIe 4.0 x16 link provides up to 16 GT/s per lane, giving the card full bandwidth on compatible motherboards without bottlenecks.
