18-Core Gaming Desktop

The MSI Gungnir 110R is a complete gaming desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 5 250KF processor with 18 cores reaching 5.3 GHz. It ships with 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD for fast storage. A 240 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU temperature controlled during extended sessions. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the system arrives tested and ready to play.

Upgrade from integrated or older discrete graphics

This system replaces a machine relying on integrated graphics or an older discrete GPU with the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT featuring 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. The jump is worth it when you need higher frame rates at 1440p or 4K in modern titles. The 850 W power supply and liquid cooling support the increased thermal and electrical demands of the new graphics card.

PCIe and memory limits

The Intel LGA 1851 platform and DDR5 memory define the practical limits of this build. The motherboard chipset determines how many PCIe lanes are available for additional NVMe drives or expansion cards. The 64 GB DDR5 kit fills the installed slots, so further memory expansion would require replacing modules rather than adding to them.
