Intel Core Ultra 5 250KF desktop

This MSI Gungnir 110R is a new gaming desktop PC built around an Intel Core Ultra 5 250KF processor with 18 cores reaching 5.3GHz. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory, a 1TB NVMe SSD and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card with 16GB of GDDR6 video memory. The system includes Windows 11 Home, 2.5G Ethernet, wireless connectivity and RGB lighting in a black chassis.

240mm liquid cooling under load

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the processor heat during extended sessions, while the 750W power supply delivers stable current to the CPU and graphics card. The closed-loop cooler keeps temperatures in check when all 18 cores sustain high frequencies, and the power unit maintains voltage rails without throttling during long gaming or rendering workloads.

PCIe and memory bandwidth limits

The Radeon RX 9070 connects through the platform PCIe interface, so its peak throughput is bounded by the lane allocation and generation supported by the Intel LGA 1851 chipset. System memory runs as 64GB of DDR5 in 288-pin DIMM form factor, and the 1TB NVMe SSD operates within the bus limits of the same chipset rather than a dedicated controller.

Questions about this item

How loud and warm does the 240mm liquid cooler keep the Core Ultra 5 250KF at 5.3GHz during all-day sessions?

The 240mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 18-core processor at its 5.3GHz boost, so temperatures and fan noise stay controlled even under sustained gaming loads.

Does the 750W power supply include the PCIe cables my Radeon RX 9070 16GB GDDR6 needs, or must I supply them?

The 750W unit ships installed with the required PCIe connectors for the Radeon RX 9070, so no extra cables are needed.

Can I keep my existing 2.5G Ethernet switch and Wi-Fi router when this desktop arrives with Windows 11 Home pre-installed?

Yes, the onboard 2.5G Ethernet port and wireless card work with any standard 2.5G switch and Wi-Fi router, and Windows 11 Home includes the necessary drivers.
