Ready-to-play liquid-cooled desktop

The MSI GUNGNIR 110R arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and a 240mm liquid cooler fitted to the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K. A 24-core processor running at 5.7GHz pairs with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD for fast boot and load times. The GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR7 handles 1440p gaming and VR titles. A 750W supply powers the complete build.

Sustained load behaviour

Liquid cooling keeps the 24-core CPU near its 5.7GHz frequency during extended sessions rather than throttling after a short burst. The 750W unit delivers stable power to the RTX 5060 and all four memory slots while the 1TB NVMe drive maintains write speeds without thermal slowdown. Component brands may vary but the thermal envelope is designed for continuous gaming workloads.

Build quality and daily connectivity

The 110R chassis includes integrated WiFi and RGB lighting controllable through MSI software. Four DDR5 slots remain accessible for future upgrades while the single PCI Express x16 slot holds the graphics card. Front-panel ports and rear I/O provide standard peripheral connections. The 240mm radiator mounts inside the case without blocking memory clearance.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 240 mm liquid cooler keep the Core Ultra 9 285K during all-day loads?

The 240 mm liquid cooler is sized for the 24-core CPU at its 5.7 GHz base frequency, so thermals stay controlled and fan noise remains moderate even during extended sessions.

What must I already own to start using this desktop right away?

Only a monitor with a compatible video input, a keyboard and a mouse are required; Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and Wi-Fi is built in.

Will my existing DDR5 modules work in the four memory slots beside the installed 64 GB kit?

Yes — the board provides four DDR5 slots in total, so any additional DDR5 DIMMs you already have can be installed alongside the factory memory.
