Core specification

This MSI Gungnir 110R desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor at 3.8GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD, running Windows 11 Home. The system is liquid cooled and includes a 1200W power supply, aimed at enthusiasts who want a pre-built machine for high-end gaming and content creation.

Memory and graphics headroom

The 64GB DDR5 configuration fills all four slots, leaving no room for expansion without replacing modules. The RTX 5090 brings 32GB of GDDR7 video memory, providing substantial frame-buffer capacity for 4K and multi-monitor workloads. Storage headroom depends on the single 2TB NVMe drive; users with larger game libraries or media projects will need to add drives if the chassis and motherboard allow.

Build integration

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load, while the 1200W unit powers the complete platform. The package includes Wi-Fi and RGB lighting. Buyers who need more internal storage bays, additional PCIe cards, or a different cooling approach should verify case clearance and motherboard layout before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will my existing AM4 cooler fit the Ryzen 7 9700X AM5 socket on this system?

The Ryzen 7 9700X uses an AM5 socket, which requires a cooler with AM5 mounting hardware; the included 240 mm liquid cooler is already installed for this socket.

How can I verify the RTX 5090 is running at PCI Express x16 speed after setup?

Open GPU-Z or Task Manager Performance tab and confirm the graphics interface shows PCI Express x16 with the RTX 5090 32 GB GDDR7 detected.

Does the box include the 1200 W power supply cables and Windows 11 Home licence, or must I buy them separately?

The 1200 W power supply and its cables are pre-installed, and Windows 11 Home is pre-activated; no separate purchase is needed for either.
