15.6 inch 165Hz QHD gaming laptop

The MSI Katana 15 pairs a 15.6 inch 165Hz QHD display with an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics card. It includes 64GB DDR5 memory and a 4TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 license are pre-installed.

Factory opened for upgrade and testing

The original seal is opened by engineers to install the memory and storage upgrades and to run inspection tests. This reduces factory defects before the unit ships. The laptop arrives with a one-year manufacturer warranty on original components and a separate one-year warranty on the upgraded RAM and SSD.

High core count and large storage for creators

The 16-core 24-thread CPU and 64GB memory suit heavy multitasking and content creation. The 4TB drive holds large project files and game libraries. Buyers who need a fingerprint reader or an SD card reader should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 165Hz QHD panel is running at 2560 x 1600 after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and verify the resolution shows 2560 x 1600 with the refresh rate set to 165Hz; the NVIDIA control panel will also report the RTX 5060 driving the internal display at those settings.

What ships inside the box and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the Katana 15 laptop with the i7-14650HX, RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7, 64GB DDR5 and 4TB PCIe SSD already installed, a power adapter, and Windows 11 Home with Office 2024 licence; no extra memory, storage or peripherals are required.

Which configuration should I choose if I need the 16-core 3.7 GHz i7-14650HX with 64GB DDR5 and 4TB SSD?

This single SKU already pairs the 16-core 3.7 GHz i7-14650HX with 64GB DDR5 and a 4TB PCIe SSD, so no alternative version or capacity selection is necessary.
