15.6-inch QHD 165Hz gaming laptop

The MSI Katana pairs a 15.6-inch QHD IPS panel running at 165 Hz with an Intel i7-14650HX 16-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics. It ships with 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB PCIe SSD, plus a bundled 7-in-1 docking station that adds a 1 TB SSD, 32 GB microSD card and cables. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

WiFi 6E and USB 3.2 Gen2 connectivity

Wireless networking uses WiFi 6E (802.11ax) with Bluetooth 5.3 for peripheral links. Wired expansion relies on one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port and three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, alongside a single HDMI output and an RJ-45 jack. The dock connects through the Type-C port and supplies its own 1 TB solid-state storage plus the bundled microSD card and accessories.

8 GB GDDR7 video memory on the RTX 5070

The GeForce RTX 5070 is equipped with 8 GB of GDDR7 memory, which sets the ceiling for texture resolution and frame-buffer capacity in modern titles. System memory is fixed at 64 GB of DDR5 running at 5600 MHz and cannot be upgraded beyond the factory configuration. Choose this specification if the 8 GB GPU frame buffer matches your workload; otherwise a different GPU tier is required.
