16-Core i7 Gaming Laptop

The MSI Katana 15 is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It runs Windows 11 Home and ships with a Microsoft Office 2024 licence. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card with 8GB GDDR7 memory drives the 165Hz QHD display. The system includes 16GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD.

Who This Suits

Buyers who need a high-refresh 2560 x 1600 screen and 16-core mobile CPU performance in a 14.13 x 10.31 x 0.99 inch chassis will find the spec sheet matches their workflow. The RGB keyboard and WiFi 6E add convenience for late-night sessions and wireless LAN play. Users who require a built-in SD card reader or fingerprint login should look at other models because those features are absent here.

Deciding Spec

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR7 video memory, which determines the rendering ceiling for every game and creative workload on this machine.
