15.6" 165Hz QHD gaming laptop

The MSI Katana 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop with a 165Hz QHD display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. The system includes 32GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 licence are pre-installed.

Suits high-refresh competitive play.

The 165Hz QHD panel suits competitive gaming and fast-paced shooters. The RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR7 handles modern titles at this resolution. Users needing 4K output, higher VRAM or a larger screen should look at other configurations.

RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 video memory. This determines the rendering ceiling for the 2560 x 1600 panel. If your workload demands more VRAM or a higher GPU tier, this is not the right part.
