Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the 45 W i7-13620H get during long sessions?

The 45 W i7-13620H is cooled by Cooler Boost 5; fan speed ramps with load so noise and temperature stay proportional to the work you ask of it.

What external display gear must I already own to use the HDMI 2.1 port at 4K 120 Hz?

You need a monitor or TV with an HDMI 2.1 input and a certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cable to reach 4K at 120 Hz.

Will my older USB 2.0 Type-A peripherals work with the single USB 2.0 port on this laptop?

Yes, the USB 2.0 Type-A port is backward compatible so legacy mice, keyboards and drives connect without adapters.
