15.6-inch QHD 165Hz gaming laptop

This 15.6-inch laptop pairs a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620H 10-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 8GB GDDR6 GPU. It ships with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The 2560 x 1440 anti-glare panel covers 100% DCI-P3 at a 2.5ms response time.

Cooler Boost 5 thermal system and versatile ports

MSI’s Cooler Boost 5 cooling keeps the 45W CPU and discrete graphics stable during extended sessions. Connectivity includes USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 2.1 supporting 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz, RJ45 LAN and a combo audio jack. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless duties.

Upgrade from 1080p 60Hz

The QHD 165Hz display and RTX 4070 8GB GDDR6 deliver a clear step up from 1080p 60Hz panels and lower-tier laptop GPUs. The jump is worth it when you need higher frame rates at 1440p for competitive shooters or colour-accurate output for creative work. The 32GB DDR5 and 1TB PCIe SSD also remove the usual memory and storage bottlenecks found in base configurations.
