The MSI Katana 15 HX-11 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Suits gamers and creators who want QHD 165 Hz

This machine suits buyers who want a 2560 x 1440 panel at 165 Hz for fast shooters and colour-accurate creative work. The 8 GB GDDR7 graphics card and 16 core CPU handle modern titles and rendering tasks. Buyers who need a 4K panel, a faster refresh screen, or a larger chassis should look at other models.

Deciding spec: 15.6 inch QHD 165 Hz display

The single specification that decides fit is the 15.6 inch QHD 165 Hz display. It fixes the native resolution at 2560 x 1440 and the maximum refresh rate at 165 Hz. If your workflow or games demand a different resolution or refresh target, this laptop will not match that requirement.
