15.6-inch 165 Hz QHD gaming laptop

The MSI Katana 15 HX B14WFK-810US is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop built around a 14th generation Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. The 2560 x 1440 display runs at 165 Hz for high-refresh gameplay.

Cooler Boost 5 thermal system

The manufacturer highlights Cooler Boost 5 cooling to manage heat from the HX-series CPU and dedicated GPU during extended sessions. A single 16 GB DDR5 module occupies one slot, leaving room for a future memory upgrade. The 1 TB M.2 2242 NVMe drive provides the primary storage, with capacity for an additional drive if the chassis supports it.

Memory slot and drive form factor

Verify whether your workflow needs more than 16 GB of RAM, as the laptop uses a single-module configuration. Confirm the M.2 2242 form factor matches any secondary SSD you plan to add. The system includes Wi-Fi 6E wireless only, so wired Ethernet requires a separate adapter.
