Core and Graphics Power

This MSI Katana 15 pairs a 16-core Intel Core i7-14650HX processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 laptop GPU carrying 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. The combination targets gamers and creators who need strong single-thread speed up to 5.2 GHz and modern graphics features in a 15.6-inch chassis. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed.

Display and Connectivity Limits

The 15.6-inch FHD panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate, so motion clarity tops out at that frame rate. External monitors connect through one HDMI 2.1 port, while three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports and one Type-A port handle peripherals. Wireless reaches Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth 5.3.

Memory and Storage Headroom

32GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD provide ample space for current games and multitasking workloads. The memory capacity handles heavy browser sessions and creative apps without paging, while the solid-state drive keeps load times short. Both components sit at the laptop's factory limits.
