Immersive 32-Inch QD-OLED UHD Display

The MAG 321CUP QD-OLED uses a 31.5-inch viewable QD-OLED panel with a 1700R curvature and a 3840 x 2160 resolution. The 165Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GTG response time reduce motion blur for fast-paced gaming. Wide 178-degree viewing angles maintain colour consistency from almost any position. VESA ClearMR 9000 and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certifications confirm high motion clarity and deep black levels.

Brightness Range and HDR Headroom

Typical brightness sits at 250 cd/m² while HDR peaks reach 1000 cd/m², giving specular highlights room to breathe without clipping. The 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio is native to the OLED panel, so dark scenes retain detail without backlight bleed. In extended full-screen bright content the panel cannot sustain peak output and will dim to protect itself. SDR desktop work stays comfortable at the lower brightness setting.

HDMI 2.1 48Gbps Bandwidth for Console Gaming

Two HDMI 2.1 ports deliver the full 48Gbps bandwidth required for 4K at 120Hz with VRR and ALLM on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. DisplayPort 1.4a and a USB-C input with DisplayPort alt mode and 15W power delivery cover modern GPUs and laptops. The single specification that decides fit is whether your source can output 48Gbps over HDMI 2.1; if it cannot, you lose the console-ready 120Hz variable-refresh feature.

Questions about this item

Will the 32" 4K 165Hz panel run smoothly with my older graphics card that only has DisplayPort 1.2?

The monitor includes DisplayPort 1.4a. A DP 1.2 source can drive 4K but only up to 60Hz. To reach 165Hz at 3840x2160 you need a GPU with DisplayPort 1.4a or HDMI 2.1.

How can I verify the 0.03ms response time and 165Hz refresh rate are active after setup?

Open the on-screen display and confirm the refresh rate reads 165Hz. In Windows Advanced Display Settings or NVIDIA Control Panel verify 3840x2160 at 165Hz is selected. Run the UFO motion test to see blur-free movement.

Which cables are included and what must I buy separately for 4K 165Hz or USB-C 15W charging?

The box contains an HDMI 2.1 cable, a DisplayPort 1.4a cable and a USB-C cable. All three support the monitor’s maximum 4K 165Hz and 15W power delivery. No extra cables are required.
