31.5" QD-OLED 4K 165Hz gaming monitor

The MSI MAG 322UP QD-OLED E16 uses a 31.5 inch QD-OLED panel at 3840 x 2160 resolution with a 165 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms GtG response time. It covers 99% DCI-P3, 98% Adobe RGB and 138% sRGB with 1.07 billion colors and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio. VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification is included. Competitive and creative users

This display suits players who want 4K detail at high frame rates and creators who need wide gamut accuracy from the same screen. The anti-glare coating helps in bright rooms. Buyers whose systems cannot sustain 4K at high refresh rates or who prefer a lower resolution for higher frame rates should consider other options.

165 Hz refresh rate with 0.03 ms response

The single specification that decides fit is the combination of a 165 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms GtG response time on a 4K QD-OLED panel. If the graphics hardware cannot deliver 4K frames near that rate the monitor’s advantage is reduced, while esports players chasing the highest possible frame rates may prefer a lower resolution panel with a faster refresh rate.

Questions about this item

Will the stand fit on a shallow desk and still allow height, swivel, pivot and tilt adjustment?

The included stand provides height adjustment, swivel, pivot so the panel can be rotated for portrait use, and tilt on a 31.5 inch footprint, so it works on typical desk depths without needing extra clearance.

Can I run 4K at 165 Hz over HDMI or do I need DisplayPort?

Both HDMI 2.1 ports and the DisplayPort 1.4a connection support 3840 x 2160 at 165 Hz, so you can use either cable type for the full refresh rate.

Is the panel bright enough for HDR content in a lit room?

The QD-OLED panel delivers 250 cd/m² typical brightness and is certified for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, giving deep blacks and highlight detail even with some ambient light.
