Raider 18 HX AI A2XWJG-841US

An 18-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU with 24 GB GDDR7. The UHD+ Mini LED panel runs at 3840 x 2400 and 120 Hz. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 5600 MHz memory and 8 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage ship in dual-channel and dual-drive configurations. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Sustained thermal behaviour

HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material on the CPU and GPU before a full burn-in stress test. Lower peak temperatures reduce the chance of throttling during extended CPU and GPU intensive workloads. The system ships with the latest stable BIOS and drivers verified under load.

Build and connectivity

Core Black chassis measures 15.91 by 12.09 by 1.26 inches and weighs 7.94 lbs. The 24-core processor with 36 MB cache and the RTX 5090 combine with LAN and WLAN communication. Dual M.2 slots and dual memory slots are populated, leaving no empty bays for immediate expansion.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the 18" UHD+ 120Hz Mini LED system get when the Ultra 9-285HX and RTX 5090 run all day?

The Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound applied to the CPU and GPU lowers temperatures and reduces throttling during sustained heavy workloads on the 24-core processor and 24 GB GDDR7 graphics.

What must I already own to use the 8 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage and 64 GB DDR5 5600MHz memory installed in this Raider 18 HX AI?

Nothing extra is required; the laptop ships with 2 x 4 TB M.2 SSDs and 2 x 32 GB DDR5 modules already installed and validated in dual-channel mode.

Will my older USB-A peripherals and external HDMI displays work with the Raider 18 HX AI A2XWJG-841US?

The chassis includes standard USB-A ports and an HDMI output, so legacy mice, keyboards, drives and monitors connect directly without adapters.
