Mobile workstation identity

The MSI Raider GE66 12UHS-236 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor with 14 cores and 20 threads. It pairs that CPU with a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU carrying 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro and 32GB of DDR5 SO-DIMM memory.

Service access reality

The unit arrives with the manufacturer box opened by technicians who tested and installed the advertised configuration. All components are new and the laptop is ready to use without further assembly. Internal upgrades would require disassembly that is not described in the supplied data.

Screen decision factor

The 2560 x 1440 QHD panel runs at 240 Hz and covers a 15.6 inch diagonal. That resolution and refresh combination is the specification that determines whether the display matches the buyer's competitive gaming or content creation targets.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 240 Hz QHD panel is running at its native 2560 x 1440 resolution after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and confirm the resolution shows 2560 x 1440 with the refresh rate set to 240 Hz; the NVIDIA control panel will also list the active signal mode for the RTX 3080 Ti.

What ships in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The laptop, 280 W power adapter, and Windows 10 Pro licence are included; no optical drive, external GPU dock or additional DDR5 SO-DIMM modules are supplied.

Which configuration should I choose if I need the 32 GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD?

This exact model — Raider GE66 12UHS-236 — already ships with 32 GB DDR5 SO-DIMM and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD, so no other version is required.
