MSI RTX2080 VENTUS 8GOC graphics card

Product and purpose

The MSI RTX2080 VENTUS 8GOC is a refurbished graphics card built around the GeForce RTX 2080 GPU. It delivers 2944 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus for 1440p and 4K gaming workloads. The PCI Express 3.0 x16 interface fits standard desktop platforms. It targets enthusiasts who want high frame rates without a new platform.

Sustained load behaviour

The Twin-Frozr cooler keeps the GPU near its 1800 MHz boost clock during extended sessions rather than throttling after a short burst. A 1515 MHz base clock provides a stable floor when thermals rise. The 14 Gbps effective memory clock feeds the 256-bit interface continuously so texture streaming stays smooth. DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.5 support maintain compatibility with modern APIs.

Connectivity and mounting

One HDMI 2.0b port, three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and a USB Type-C connector drive up to four monitors at 7680 x 4320 resolution. The dual-slot bracket aligns with typical case expansion slots for straightforward installation. Standard PCI Express power delivery means no proprietary cables are required. The compact PCB leaves room for airflow in mid-tower chassis.
