FORGE GM340 Wireless Gaming Mouse Sky

The MSI FORGE GM340 is a symmetrical wireless gaming mouse weighing 57g and available in Sky colour. It connects through tri-mode 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB 2.0 for flexible device pairing. The PixArt PAW3311 optical sensor offers six DPI steps from 800 to 12000. It suits competitive players who want a light, ambidextrous shape for long sessions.

Sustained wireless performance

The mouse runs at a 1000 Hz report rate with 1 ms response across all wireless modes. MSI SwiftSpeed 2.4 GHz wireless keeps latency stable during extended matches without the drop-offs seen in brief bursts. The PAW3311 sensor maintains consistent tracking at any of the six preset DPI levels. Battery life reaches up to 82 hours on a single charge for uninterrupted play.

Thermals noise and power draw

With no active cooling, the mouse produces zero fan noise and negligible heat during normal use. The optical sensor is engineered for ultra-low power consumption to support the 82-hour runtime. Main switches are rated for 50 million clicks, preserving click feel over time. Charging occurs over the USB 2.0 connection while you continue to play.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 1000 Hz polling rate draw during all-day use?

The mouse runs up to 82 hours on a single charge at 1000 Hz, so daily sessions are covered without constant recharging.

What must I already own to use the 2.4 GHz wireless mode?

A free USB 2.0 port for the included MSI SwiftSpeed 2.4 GHz receiver is required.

Will the symmetrical 57 g shape feel different from my older right-handed mouse?

The symmetrical design suits all grip styles and the 57 g weight reduces fatigue compared with heavier legacy models.
