Dual AMD EPYC 9004 server barebones with 16 NVMe and 8 SAS/SATA hot-swap bays plus 2×10Gb networking
This MSI barebone server is built around two SP5 sockets for AMD EPYC 9004 series processors. It targets operators who need a dense 2U platform for cloud services, content delivery or NFV workloads. The chassis integrates hybrid hot-swap bays and dual 10 Gb networking in a single unit.
Organisations running AI inference, 5G edge or general-purpose virtualisation will match the dual-processor design and generous drive count. Buyers who require single-socket economics or fewer than sixteen NVMe bays should evaluate smaller platforms instead.
The front section accepts up to sixteen NVMe drives alongside eight SAS or SATA devices, all hot-swappable. Dual 10 Gb ports handle storage and cluster traffic. Capacity scales until both processor sockets and every bay are populated.
