Thin 15 15.6" FHD 144Hz gaming laptop

The MSI Thin 15 is a 15.6 inch Full HD gaming laptop with a 144 Hz display. It runs on an Intel Core i7 13th Gen 10 core processor reaching 4.9 GHz turbo. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6 GB GDDR6 handles graphics. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 licence.

Installation and upgrade notes

The original seal is opened by engineers to install 64 GB DDR5 memory and a 4 TB PCIe SSD before shipment. No user installation is required for those components. The laptop includes a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port with DisplayPort 2.1, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 LAN and a combo audio jack. Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth 5.3 provide wireless connectivity.

Capacity and headroom

64 GB DDR5 and a 4 TB PCIe SSD give ample space for large game libraries and heavy multitasking. The 6 GB GPU frame buffer suits 1080p gaming at high refresh rates. Demanding titles at higher resolutions or with maximum texture settings will exceed the video memory. Sustained loads are managed within the Thin 15 chassis.
