Built for high-refresh gaming

The MSI Thin 15 pairs a 10-core Intel Core i7-13620H with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 laptop GPU carrying 6 GB of GDDR6 memory. A 15.6-inch FHD panel running at 144 Hz gives smooth motion in competitive titles. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed.

Ready-to-use software bundle

A genuine Office 2024 license is activated out of the box so productivity work can start immediately. Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth 5.3 provide modern wireless connectivity. The chassis includes a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port with DisplayPort 2.1 support, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 LAN and a combo audio jack.

Memory and storage headroom

32 GB of DDR5 and a 1 TB PCIe SSD handle current games and multitasking without bottlenecks. The single SSD slot means future capacity increases require replacing the drive. The 6 GB GPU frame buffer remains the limiting factor for ultra-high texture settings at native resolution.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB DDR5 memory be upgraded later?

The laptop ships with 32 GB of DDR5 installed. No additional memory slots are mentioned in the specifications, so future expansion would depend on the board layout.

What thermal limit appears first when the i7-13620H runs at 4.9 GHz for long sessions?

The 10-core processor can hit 4.9 GHz turbo, but sustained loads will be constrained by the 15.6 inch chassis cooling capacity before any other component throttles.

How loud do the fans get and how hot does the keyboard area feel during all-day gaming?

Fan speed and surface temperature are not quantified in the data, but the 0.85 inch profile and 4.1 pound weight suggest a compact thermal solution that will spin up noticeably under continuous GPU load.
