Thin 15 Ryzen 7535HS RTX 4050

The MSI Thin 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS processor with six cores and twelve threads running at 2.3 GHz up to 4.5 GHz. It pairs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6 GB GDDR6 video memory, 32 GB DDR5 system memory and a 2 TB PCIe SSD. The display delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution at 144 Hz. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 licence are pre-installed.

Upgrade from integrated or entry discrete graphics

This configuration replaces systems that rely on integrated graphics or older discrete GPUs with limited video memory. The jump is worth it when you need 6 GB GDDR6 for modern titles at 1080p, 32 GB DDR5 for multitasking and a 2 TB PCIe SSD for large game libraries. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 improve wireless stability over earlier standards. The port selection includes one USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 with DisplayPort 1.4 and three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports.

Sustained load on 144 Hz panel

Under sustained load the six-core processor maintains clocks up to 4.5 GHz while the RTX 4050 drives the 144 Hz panel at 1080p. The chassis measures 14.13 x 9.99 x .85 inches and weighs 4.10 pounds, providing a thin profile for a 15.6 inch device. A backlit keyboard and 720p webcam support extended sessions. MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 keeps latency low during long online matches.
