15.6" 144Hz gaming laptop

The MSI Thin 15 combines a 15.6 inch FHD IPS display running at 144Hz with a 12th Gen Intel 8-core i5-12450H processor. It targets gamers and creators who need a portable Windows 11 machine with a dedicated GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. The slim black chassis measures 0.85 inches thin and weighs 4.11 pounds for easy transport.

64GB DDR4 and 1TB SSD capacity

Factory-installed 64GB DDR4 memory provides ample headroom for modern games, heavy multitasking and content-creation workloads without paging. The 1TB solid-state drive offers fast boot and load times for a large library, though storage-hungry users may eventually need external expansion.

52Wh battery and thermal profile

A 3-cell 52Wh battery powers the system during unplugged sessions while the cooling solution manages the 45W-class CPU and RTX 3050 under load. Fan noise rises during sustained gaming but stays moderate for typical productivity tasks. The 12MB Smart Cache and 12 threads help maintain efficiency across mixed workloads.

How can I confirm the 144Hz panel and RTX 3050 are active after I install drivers?
