Raider Thin 15 configuration

The MSI Raider Thin 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core Ultra i7 13620H with 10 cores and 16 threads. It pairs that processor with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 4TB PCIe SSD. The 144Hz FHD panel and GeForce RTX 4050 6 GB GPU complete the core specification.

Buyer fit check

This machine suits users who need a high core count and large unified memory pool in a 4.1 pound chassis. The 10 core CPU and 64GB RAM handle multitasking and content workloads. Buyers who require a card reader, fingerprint reader, or a higher refresh panel should look at alternative models.

Deciding specification

The GeForce RTX 4050 with 6 GB of video memory is the single component that determines whether this laptop meets a given workload. If the target applications need more VRAM or a higher GPU tier, the rest of the specification cannot compensate.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6" 144Hz display and RTX 4050 drive my older 1080p monitor over HDMI?

Yes, the two HDMI ports can output 1920 x 1080 to an external display while the internal panel runs at 144Hz.

How can I confirm the 64GB DDR5 and 4TB PCIe SSD are recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), select the Performance tab and verify 64GB memory and a 4TB drive appear.

What ships in the box and what must I buy separately?

The laptop, power adapter and Windows 11 Home are included; no SD card reader or optical drive is built in, so add those externally if needed.
