15.6-inch 144Hz gaming laptop

The MSI Thin A15 pairs a 15.6-inch FHD IPS-level panel running at 144Hz with an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS six-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics. It targets gamers and creators who need a portable 4.1-pound chassis without sacrificing a high-refresh display. Windows 11 Pro and an Office 2024 license ship pre-installed.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with Power Delivery 3.0

Connectivity centres on a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that carries DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.1 output capable of 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. Wireless uses Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, while a wired RJ45 jack remains available for stable LAN play.

64GB DDR5 and 2TB PCIe SSD

The 64GB DDR5 configuration removes memory pressure in modern titles and heavy multitasking, while the 2TB PCIe SSD provides ample space for large game libraries and project files. The RTX 3050’s 4GB GDDR6 frame buffer becomes the limiting factor at higher texture settings, so 1440p or ultra presets will require compromises.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6 inch 144Hz display run 4K at 120Hz on an external monitor?
