15.6" FHD 144Hz Gaming Laptop

The MSI Thin A15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop with a 1920 x 1080 144Hz display. It runs on an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS processor with 6 cores and 16 threads, boosting to 4.5 GHz. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 with 4GB video memory handles graphics. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 license.

Check Ports OS and Cooling

Verify that your peripherals match the three USB-A 3.2 ports, one Type-C 3.2 port, HDMI 2.1 output and RJ45 Ethernet jack. Confirm Windows 11 Home meets your software requirements. The Cooler Boost 5 thermal system manages heat in the 14.13 x 10 x 0.85 inch chassis weighing 4.1 pounds. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity.

Upgrade From Lower Spec 15 Inch Models

This configuration replaces 15 inch laptops with 8GB or 16GB memory and smaller solid state drives. The 64GB DDR5 and 4TB PCIe SSD remove bottlenecks for multitasking and large game libraries. The jump is worth it when your current machine struggles with memory capacity or storage space rather than raw GPU power.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop ship with the 64 GB DDR5 and 4 TB PCIe SSD already installed, or do I need to buy them separately?

The unit arrives with 64 GB DDR5 memory and a 4 TB PCIe SSD fitted by the engineer team; no extra memory or storage purchase is required.

Should I choose the 144 Hz FHD panel or a higher-resolution screen for this Ryzen 5 7535HS model?

Only the 15.6" 1920 x 1080 144 Hz display is offered on this SKU, so there is no alternative panel to select.

What frame rates can I expect from the RTX 2050 4 GB at 1080p on the 144 Hz display?

The RTX 2050 4 GB targets playable 1080p performance in modern titles; actual frames depend on game settings and thermal headroom of the Cooler Boost 5 system.
