Thin A15 for entry gaming

The MSI Thin A15 pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS six-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 graphics card. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a one-terabyte PCIe SSD provide responsive multitasking and fast load times. The 15.6-inch FHD IPS-level display runs at 144Hz for smooth motion in competitive titles. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 licence are pre-installed.

Build and connectivity

The chassis measures 14.13 by 9.99 by 0.85 inches and weighs 4.1 pounds in a black finish. A USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port supports DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0 for single-cable docking and charging. Three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 Ethernet, and separate microphone and headphone jacks cover peripherals and external displays. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless connectivity.

Thermals and power

The 45-watt Ryzen 5 7535HS operates between 3.3 and 4.55 GHz, while the RTX 3050 draws modest power for a discrete laptop GPU. Under typical gaming loads the cooling system keeps surface temperatures comfortable and fan noise stays at a moderate level. Battery life varies with workload but the efficient platform and 144Hz panel allow several hours of mixed use away from an outlet.
