Vector A16: 16-core Ryzen 9 mobile workstation

The Vector A16 pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor with 16 cores and a 5.3 GHz max turbo frequency alongside an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU carrying 12 GB GDDR7 memory. It targets creators and engineers who need desktop-class multi-thread throughput in a 16.0-inch chassis.

240 Hz QHD+ panel validates GPU choice

A 16.0-inch 2560 x 1600 display running at 240 Hz makes the RTX 5070 Ti the decisive specification; the high refresh rate can only be exploited when the graphics subsystem sustains frame rates that match the panel speed.

32 GB DDR5 and 4 TB PCIe SSD define headroom

32 GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 4 TB PCIe SSD provide generous capacity for large datasets, virtual machines and modern game libraries; workloads that exceed 32 GB system memory or require more than 4 TB fast storage will hit the ceiling.

Questions about this item

How does the 240 Hz panel behave when the GPU is pushing high frame rates in games?

The 16.0 inch QHD+ display refreshes at 240 Hz so motion stays smooth when the RTX 5070 Ti delivers high frame rates at 2560 x 1600 resolution.

What does the USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 compatible Type-C port actually limit in daily use?

Each Type-C port supports USB4, DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.1 so external monitors, storage and charging all share the same 40 Gbps ceiling.

Will the 14.05 x 11.18 x 1.12 inch chassis fit in a standard 16 inch laptop sleeve?

The 1.12 inch thickness and 5.95 pound weight match typical 16 inch sleeve dimensions so it fits without forcing the zipper.
