Built for STEM and high-end gaming

The MSI Vector A18 HX A9WIG-223US is an 18.0 inch QHD+ gaming laptop aimed at engineers, developers and competitive players. It runs Windows 11 Home on an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor with 16 cores and 32 threads. The 240 Hz panel and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU target both simulation workloads and high-refresh gameplay.

16 GB GPU video memory decides fit

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU includes 16 GB of dedicated video memory. That capacity determines whether the system can hold the texture sets, frame buffers and model weights your workflow requires. If your datasets exceed this pool, you will hit paging penalties that no CPU upgrade can fix.

32 GB DDR5 5600 and Gen4x4 SSD anchor the platform

The laptop ships with 32 GB of DDR5 5600 memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD on a Gen4x4 link. Two SO-DIMM slots and a second M.2 bay let you expand both later. Connectivity covers HDMI 2.1, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and 2.5 GbE LAN for fast local transfers.
