Two-Piece Clip-On Hat Lights

The Mudder 2246 kit supplies two clip-on LED lights that attach to a hat brim, cap or pocket, giving hands-free illumination for outdoor pursuits such as camping, fishing, hiking or night-time dog walking. Each unit weighs only 0.2 pounds and measures 3.4 x 2.2 x 0.5 inches, so it adds negligible bulk to headwear. The pair ensures a spare is always available for extended trips or shared use.

Battery Runtime and Water Resistance

Three AAA alkaline cells (not included) power each light for up to 24 hours of continuous operation before replacement is needed. The housing is rated waterproof, allowing reliable use in rain or damp conditions without additional protection. No rechargeable option or battery-level indicator is provided, so users must carry spare cells for longer outings.

11 LED Array at 400 Lumens

Eleven LED bulbs per unit produce a maximum output of 400 lumens, activated by a single on/off button for simple control. This brightness level suits close-range tasks and moderate-distance path finding but is not designed for high-speed trail running or search-scale illumination. Buyers needing adjustable modes, focusable beams or significantly higher output should consider other form factors.
