Copper DWV Elbow for 2-Inch Tube
This 90-degree wrot-copper fitting connects two 2-inch copper tubes in drain-waste-vent systems. It handles potable water and air distribution in residential and light-commercial plumbing. The cup-to-cup design accepts soldered joints without additional adapters. Installers use it where a sharp directional change is required.
90-Degree Turn in a Single Fitting
The elbow provides a fixed 90-degree bend with both ends sized for 2 1/8-inch outer-diameter tube. No adjustable angle or reducing outlet is offered, so the layout must accommodate a full right-angle change. It meets ASME B16.23 and B16.29 dimensions for wrought-copper drainage fittings.
Rated to 250 °F with NSF/ANSI 61 Annex G Compliance
The fitting withstands continuous temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, covering hot-water return lines and typical DWV stacks. It is not pre-cleaned, so flux and solder preparation remain the installer's responsibility. The NSF/ANSI 61 Annex G listing confirms suitability for potable-water contact.

Questions about this item
What does the 90-degree angle mean for flow direction in a real installation?
The elbow turns the pipe run 90 degrees so the flow changes direction at a right angle.
Which standards govern the 2-inch copper cup connections and what do they cap in practice?
ASME B16.23 and B16.29 set the dimensions and pressure ratings for wrought copper DWV fittings; NSF/ANSI 61 Annex G certifies it for potable water.
What tube size and preparation does the 2-inch cup end need to fit and mount?
Each cup accepts 2-inch copper tube with a 2 1/8-inch outside diameter; the fitting is not pre-cleaned so the tube ends must be cleaned and fluxed before soldering.
