The Mul-T-Lock RIM1VT-26 is a Grade 1 satin chrome rim cylinder designed for jimmy proof deadlocks on residential and commercial surface mounted door locksets. It uses a unique up to 10 telescopic pin tumbler system for high security access control.

Installation fit and common issues

The cylinder replaces existing 1-1/8 inch rim cylinders on major brand locksets and includes 2 keys with a key ID card for controlled duplication. Misalignment with the tailpiece or incorrect cylinder length often prevents the deadbolt from throwing fully.

Keyway limits and key control
