Mutikor TR2-BK 500ml Black Cartridge

The Mutikor TR2-BK is a new aftermarket black ink cartridge filled with 500ml of pigment ink. It replaces the Roland TR2-BK cartridge for TrueVIS SG and VG series printers. The cartridge yields approximately 10500 pages at 5% coverage. It suits print shops and sign makers who need high-volume black output on compatible Roland devices.

Pigment ink yield and coverage limits

The 10500-page figure applies only at 5% page coverage; solid graphics or heavy text will reduce actual yield. Pigment formulation provides fade resistance rated beyond 100 years and instant waterproof, smudge-free results. The cartridge works solely with the listed TrueVIS SG-300, SG-540, SG2, SG3, VG, VG2 and VG3 models. Printers outside this series cannot use this cartridge.

Straightforward cartridge swap with clog resistance

Installation follows the standard Roland cartridge replacement procedure; no tools or firmware steps are required. The anti-clog formula helps prevent drying during idle periods, reducing head-cleaning cycles. Users who neglect regular printer use may still experience nozzle blockages over time. Buyers needing colour or light-black inks must purchase separate cartridges for each required colour.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 500 ml black cartridge or a multi-colour pack for my Roland TrueVIS SG-300?

Choose the 500 ml TR2-BK cartridge if you only need black ink; select a multi-colour pack when cyan, magenta, yellow or light variants are also low.

What does the 10500-page yield mean for daily printing on a Roland VG-640?

At 5 % coverage the cartridge prints roughly 10500 pages; full-coverage graphics will reduce that figure while sparse text may exceed it.

Does the TR2-BK cartridge use the same ink interface as the original Roland TR2 black ink?

Yes, it is a direct replacement for Roland TR2 black ink and fits the same cartridge slot on all listed TrueVIS SG and VG models.
