For DIY builders who want visible hardware

This frame suits enthusiasts building test benches, mining rigs or showcase systems where component access and airflow take priority over dust protection. Buyers who need enclosed panels, noise isolation or pre-installed fans should consider a traditional enclosed case instead.

ATX motherboard support up to 305 x 244mm

The chassis accepts standard ATX boards measuring 305 x 244mm and offers seven PCI slots for graphics cards or add-in cards. Verify your motherboard dimensions match this footprint before purchase, as smaller ITX or M-ATX variants use different frame sizes.

Questions about this item

How do I install a motherboard into the 420 x 280mm aluminium frame and what step is often missed?

Mount the ATX board (305 x 244mm) using the supplied screw bag, then fit the separate reset and power key onto the front switch interface — many builders forget the key assembly.

Which parts of this open frame will need replacement after long-term use?

The acrylic panels can crack if stressed during transport, and the aluminium standoffs may strip if screws are over-tightened; both are the only serviceable items.

What is the first limitation you hit when running a full ATX build under sustained load?

With no integrated fans or dust filters, the open 420 x 280mm layout relies entirely on component coolers, so GPU and CPU thermals become the limiting factor.
