Compact Open Frame for Testing

This open aluminium frame holds ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX boards up to 305x244mm. It provides four PCI expansion slots and a single 3.5in or 2.5in drive bay. A standard ATX power supply mounts directly to the structure.

Sustained Thermal Behaviour

With no side panels airflow moves freely around the motherboard and graphics card. The bare 20x20 alloy skeleton lets heat rise without recirculation during long overclocking runs. Dust settles on components rather than filters, so periodic cleaning is required.

Four PCI Slots Decide GPU Fit

Four rear slots accept full-height add-in cards, but the frame includes no riser or vertical-mount hardware. Builders needing a second graphics card or a thicker triple-slot cooler must source brackets separately.

Questions about this item

How much heat builds up inside the 360x264x154mm open frame when the system runs all day?

The open aluminium frame relies on natural airflow around the components, so heat dissipates directly into the room without fans trapping it inside the 14x10.4x6.1in structure.

Which motherboard form-factors and power supply type must I already own to use this chassis?

It accepts ATX 305x244mm, micro-ATX and mini-ITX boards and is designed for a standard ATX power supply.

Will my existing 3.5in hard drive and full-length graphics card fit in the four PCI slots provided?

One 3.5in or 2.5in drive bay is included, and the four PCI slots accommodate full-size expansion cards when the optional graphics-card bracket is fitted.
