17.3″ LCD Back Cover for Alienware M17 R3

This replacement top lid is built specifically for the Dell Alienware M17 R3 using part number NHWPF. It restores the original chassis structure around the 17.3 inch display panel. The cover arrives new and ready for installation by a qualified technician.

Fit and durability under daily use

The cover mates with the existing hinge mounts and screw points to keep the screen assembly rigid during repeated opening and closing. Its construction resists flex when the laptop is carried in a bag or used on uneven surfaces. Buyers needing a complete hinge kit or internal display brackets will need to source those parts separately.

Questions about this item

Does the 17.3'' back cover add noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day use?

The cover is a passive shell with no electronics, so it produces no heat or noise of its own and does not change the laptop's thermal behaviour.

What must I already own for this NHWPF lid to fit and function?

You need a Dell Alienware M17 R3 chassis; the part replaces the original top lid and uses the existing hinges, screws and display cable.
