Replacement Bottom Case for Legion 15 Laptops

This new bottom case base is manufactured for Lenovo Legion 5-15ITH6H 5-15ACH6H 5-15ACH6A 82JU models. It restores the structural lower chassis when the original part is cracked or missing. Builders repairing a damaged enclosure will find the correct mounting points and port cut-outs. Buyers needing a top cover or screen bezel should look elsewhere.

Passive Thermal Design With No Moving Parts

The case relies on its metal construction and existing ventilation apertures to dissipate heat without adding fan noise. Power draw remains unchanged because the component contains no electronics. It simply replaces the factory shell so the original cooling system works as intended.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 5CB1C17424 bottom case on my Legion 5-15ITH6H, and which step is often missed?

Remove all screws securing the original base, disconnect the battery cable before lifting the board, then fit the 5CB1C17424 case and reattach every screw in the correct order; the step most people skip is disconnecting the battery first.

What maintenance or replacement will the 5CB1C17424 bottom case need over time?

The case itself requires no scheduled maintenance; inspect the screw threads and plastic clips if you remove it repeatedly, and replace the unit only if cracks appear around the 15-inch chassis mounts or the 82JU standoffs.
