Questions about this item

How can I verify the CPU and GPU fans are spinning correctly after installing the cooling assembly in my Alienware M15 R1?

Power on the laptop and listen for both fans to start; then check the thermal read-outs in Alienware Command Center — CPU and GPU temperatures should drop to idle levels within a minute.

Does the package include replacement thermal pads or paste, or must I source them separately?

The box contains only the CPU and GPU cooling fan radiator unit; thermal pads and compound are not included and must be purchased separately.
